Photos of my trip to Scotland in 2013.
I can not show Neist Point without the lighthouse :-) And here he is now! The 19 meters high lighthouse was built by David Alan Stevenson and put into service in 1909 and is still active, but it was automated in 1990. Although it was dark and the sky overcast with rain clouds, I was very lucky. For a very short time the clouds broke up and the sun's rays could engulf the lighthouse in their golden glow. And I was even able to discover the islands of the Outer Hebrides on the horizon. What a sight! I hope you like it :-)
