Mount „Säntis“

Well, what you see here is the mountain called Säntis, located in the area of Appenzell in Switzerland. I made this shot after sunset when the last light of the day was just disappearing. But you can’t see the whole mountain because there was this huge and dark cloud covering the entire area. You see here only a very small part. At 2’501.9 meters above sea level, Säntis is the highest mountain in the Alpstein massif of northeastern Switzerland. It is also the culminating point of the whole Appenzell Alps, between Lake Walenstadt and Lake Constance. Hey, I was also up there … and guess what I saw? … Nothing!!!! The visibility was incredibly bad. And with the perspective of only 2 meters, the only thing I saw was the white color of the cloud he he he ;-) But nevertheless I hope you like this shot :-)
